Questions people usually ask
Will my current employer find out I've been in touch?
No. Every conversation is confidential, and your CV is never sent to a firm without your express permission. I don't post profiles, I don't drop names, and I don't blast CVs to a pipeline.
I'm not actively looking. Worth a chat anyway?
Yes. In fact those are often the best conversations. A 20-minute call to map where you sit in the market, what's around, and what you'd actually consider costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
What sectors do you cover right now?
Legal: private practice and in-house, across the UK and internationally, notably the GCC. Other sectors will follow when there are the right specialists to lead them. I'd rather do one thing properly than several things vaguely.
We're a firm. How do you charge?
Standard contingent or retained fee structures, depending on the seat. Retained is usually the right call for partner-level, confidential or hard-to-fill mandates. I'll be straightforward with you about which fits.
How long does a placement typically take?
For associate-level legal roles, four to ten weeks from brief to offer is typical. Senior, confidential or international mandates take longer. I'd rather get the match right than rush it.
Can we just send our CV without a brief?
Absolutely. I keep candidates on file, with permission, and reach out when a relevant brief comes in. No pestering and no fortnightly check-ins, just a note when there's something worth knowing about.
