The Role:

This is a hands-on, pivotal role where you will be integral to our client’s success. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing detailed bills, costs budgets, and effective replies to points of dispute.
• Negotiating costs settlements to secure optimal outcomes for our clients.
• Collaborating closely with our solicitors to ensure timely and efficient recovery of costs.
• Offering expert advice on cost-related matters to maximise case profitability.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 5+ years as a Costs Lawyer or Costs Draftsperson.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and relevant case law.
• Skills: Strong commercial awareness, exceptional accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Approach: Proactive, flexible, and adaptable, with a collaborative spirit.
• Client Care: Outstanding communication skills with a focus on delivering excellent client service.
