The opportunity
Our fast-growing Commercial/TMT practice is looking for a Senior Associate (6+ PQE) to take a lead role on sophisticated, cross-border commercial and technology matters across the Middle East. You’ll work with blue-chip corporates, high-growth tech companies and public sector entities on headline projects spanning outsourcing, procurement, complex tech deals and regulatory advisory. If you’re commercially minded, love client contact and want a real platform for progression, this is for you.
What you’ll do

Lead the review, negotiation and drafting of high-value commercial and technology agreements, including:

Outsourcing & procurement

Technology transactions and services
-
Agency, distribution & franchising
-
Sponsorship & brand licensing
-
A wide range of general commercial contracts (advertising, consultancy, supply chain and distribution)

Advise on complex transactional structuring and TMT regulatory issues (data privacy, telecoms and media).

Support technology due diligence on corporate transactions.

Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.

Support marketing and business development campaigns; contribute to proposals, pitches and thought leadership.

Deliver client training and public presentations; help shape legal training materials.
What you’ll bring
-
6+ years PQE in Commercial/TMT with experience from a well-recognised practice.

Strong academic track record (2:1 or equivalent) and top-tier training.

Proven ability to run complex negotiations with confidence and autonomy.

Sharp commercial judgment, initiative and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in business development.

Experience creating and/or delivering legal training is an advantage.

Ambition to grow within a market-leading MENA Commercial/TMT team.
About the team
You’ll join a regional IP/Tech/Commercial (IPTC) group spanning Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Jeddah. We’re commercial lawyers with deep sector expertise and a track record in complex commercial arrangements across agency, distribution, franchising, marketing, hotel & restaurant management and sale of goods. The work is varied, high-impact and genuinely cross-border.
