Overview
A leading commercial Real Estate practice in Dublin is seeking to hire an Associate (3+ PQE) to support a fast-growing pipeline of high-value transactional and advisory work. This is an excellent opportunity for a real estate lawyer who wants to step into a role with real responsibility, direct client exposure and strong progression prospects within a high-performing team.
The team advises a broad mix of institutional investors, developers, landlords and occupier clients on complex commercial property matters, including cross-border transactions. You will work closely with partners and senior associates, while running appropriate matters independently and mentoring more junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property, including portfolio and multi-asset transactions.
- Supporting development and regeneration matters, including site acquisitions, disposals, agreements for lease and related documentation.
- Drafting and negotiating commercial leases, agreements and associated landlord & tenant documents.
- Handling asset management and property management matters, including licences, deeds of variation and tenant issues.
- Advising on property elements of corporate transactions and real estate-backed finance matters where required.
- Managing deadlines and client expectations efficiently within a busy transactional environment.
- Contributing to client relationship development and business development activity.
Candidate profile
- Ireland-qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in commercial real estate.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills across leases and transactional documents.
- Experience managing matters with supervision and providing practical solutions.
- Commercially aware, proactive and comfortable working directly with clients.
- Collaborative mindset with a desire to support junior colleagues.
