Overview
A top-tier Real Estate Finance team in London is looking to hire a junior Associate to support a thriving pipeline of real estate-backed lending and structured finance work. This is a superb platform for a lawyer seeking to specialise in real estate finance and develop long-term expertise within a market-leading practice.
The team acts for a wide range of lenders, borrowers, debt funds and institutional investors on domestic and cross-border transactions. You will gain broad exposure across investment finance, development finance and refinancing, with strong partner access and excellent technical training.
Responsibilities
- Supporting and running real estate finance transactions for lenders and borrowers.
- Assisting on development finance, investment finance, refinancing and loan restructurings.
- Drafting and negotiating finance documentation, security packages and ancillary documents.
- Managing due diligence and transaction timetables, including coordination with real estate, corporate and tax teams.
- Advising on finance matters across varied asset classes (including commercial, residential, mixed-use, logistics, PRS and hospitality).
- Developing strong technical expertise and contributing to team knowledge initiatives.
Candidate profile
- UK-qualified solicitor with 1+ years’ PQE in Banking/Finance and/or Real Estate Finance.
- Solid understanding of lending structures and real estate security.
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Commercial, hardworking and calm under pressure.
- Genuine interest in building a career in real estate finance.
