Overview

Fast-paced technology business seeks an interim counsel to accelerate commercial contracting and privacy compliance during a transformation programme. Immediate value from redlining speed and pragmatic risk guidance.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate commercial contracts, NDAs, DPAs and data-sharing agreements.
• Advise on GDPR compliance, records of processing, and privacy by design.
• Support regulatory reporting and cross-border data transfer frameworks.
• Create/optimise playbooks, templates, and approval workflows.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor (UK) with 5+ years’ commercial and privacy experience.
• Proven redline turnaround and stakeholder management in tech environments.
• Available within 2–4 weeks; comfortable working fully remote.

Day Rate & Contract

• £500–£600 per day, Outside IR35.
• Initial 6-month term (potential extension).
