Our client, a reputable Costs firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Draftsman with commercial experience to join their team. As a Senior Cost Draftsman, you will play a pivotal role in managing and analysing costs associated with legal cases. Responsibilities:
- Draft bills of costs, schedules of costs, all aspects of Cost Budgeting , preparing Points of Dispute
- Prepare detailed cost assessments
- Analyse cost-related data and identify areas for optimisation
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure accurate cost estimations
- Review and negotiate costs with external parties
- Stay updated on relevant legal regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Cost Draftsman
- Strong commercial experience, preferably within the legal sector
- Proficiency in cost assessment software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
