Day to day

What you'll
be doing

Carrying out real estate due diligence on large property portfolios, including preparing and reviewing certificates of title and analysing title documentation, leases, easements and restrictions. Assisting on complex multi-funder transactions exceeding £1bn+, coordinating due diligence requirements and managing differing funder conditions. Acting for funder-side clients including UK and international banks and institutional investors. Drafting and negotiating security and transaction documents such as legal charges, security trust deeds and conditions precedent. Reviewing and reporting on real estate documentation including leases, development agreements and joint venture documentation. Managing real estate workstreams on transactions, coordinating conditions precedent collection and liaising with borrowers' solicitors and other advisers.
Candidate profile

Who we're
looking for

You are entrepreneurial and self-starting, confident with clients and proactive in driving deals forward. You understand transaction fundamentals and the role of real estate assets. You are familiar with market standard certificates of title and solutions-focused, with confidence (particularly at the more senior end of the range) in bespoke drafting. You are comfortable with technology whilst demonstrating the value of legal expertise on complex transactions. You have a hunger to develop your career and build your professional network.
