Our client, a reputable Costs firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Draftsman with commercial experience to join their team. As a Senior Cost Draftsman, you will play a pivotal role in managing and analysing costs associated with legal cases. If you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in this field and are looking for a challenging opportunity, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Draft bills of costs, schedules of costs, all aspects of Cost Budgeting , preparing Points of Dispute
• Prepare detailed cost assessments
• Analyse cost-related data and identify areas for optimisation
• Collaborate with legal teams to ensure accurate cost estimations
• Review and negotiate costs with external parties
• Stay updated on relevant legal regulations and guidelines

Candidate profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Cost Draftsman
• Strong commercial experience, preferably within the legal sector
• Proficiency in cost assessment software and tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
