A top tier Legal 500 Corporate team is seeking a talented Corporate Lawyer to join them in a full time, permanent role based in Bristol. With a flexible hybrid working model, candidates should live within a commutable distance to the Bristol office.
This is a growth opportunity to work on high value, challenging transactions across M&A and private equity. You will be part of a dynamic, forward thinking team handling some of the most exciting deals in the South West market.
The wider national Corporate team comprises around 50 lawyers with an impressive track record, including many deals with an international element. Cross office working is commonplace, and the successful candidate will be able to make a greater impact within a smaller, motivated team.
Day to day
What you'll
be doing.
01
Advising private equity investors on significant investments and providing strategic legal advice.

Acting for corporates, business owners and management teams across the energy, insurance and real estate sectors.

Supporting clients on acquisitions, disposals and investments aligned to their long term strategic aims.

Working on high value M&A and private equity transactions across the South West market.

Collaborating across offices on deals with a national and international element.
Candidate profile
Who we're
looking for.
i
4+ years post qualification experience as a UK (England, Wales or Scotland) Solicitor in corporate law.
ii
Familiarity with private equity work is ideal.
iii
Strong black letter drafting and analytical skills with the ability to assess commercial situations and develop strategic solutions.
iv
Excellent drafting ability, commercial pragmatism and a strong team ethos.
v
Ability to deliver complex advice in a coherent and practical way that is easy for non lawyers to understand.
