A leading top 100 UK law firm is seeking a Real Estate Partner to join its established and well known Leeds real estate practice.

The team has decades of experience and an unrivalled understanding of the national and international real estate landscape, advising on the complex and interlocking regulations that control the industry. A strong transatlantic presence has recently deepened through a combination with a US firm, opening up further opportunities for the real estate teams.

This is a growth role within a national, high profile team with strong exposure to high value work, an impressive list of major clients and significant panel appointments. The Leeds office has been recently refurbished, offering state of the art facilities and panoramic views of Leeds.

Day to day

What you'll
be doing.

Advising on a broad range of real estate matters including developers, investment, asset management, strategic land, disposals, acquisitions, landlord and tenant, energy, and real estate finance.

Driving growth and increasing the national profile of the Real Estate practice.

Supporting the wider strategic vision of growth for the firm.

Coaching, mentoring and taking responsibility for the career development of the team.

Identifying opportunities for innovation and creating process improvements.

Working alongside the existing Leeds Real Estate Partners on high profile mandates.
Candidate profile

Who we're
looking for.

i
Qualified solicitor with 8+ years post admission experience.
ii
High level of knowledge of the UK real estate sector and a track record of building and sustaining a practice in this sector.
iii
A credible external profile as a leader in real estate.
iv
Demonstrable thorough understanding of revenue prioritisation.
v
Team management experience with evidence of effective coaching.
vi
Commercial mind set, role model behaviours and a focus on efficiency.
vii
Understanding of how legal services should be delivered at a top 100 UK law firm.
